The Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce is excited to be organizing a family-friendly pedestrian Lights Walk through Legacy Park. Instead of a parade this year, businesses will be decorating Legacy Park with lights and holiday decor! The Lights Walk will light up and be open for families to walk through, free of charge. They are excited to also be playing Christmas music throughout the park to add to the festivities.
The event goes on Nov.27 from 6-9 p.m.
Things to remember for families and pedestrians walking through the event:
- The only entry to the Lights Walk will be on 100 Avenue in Legacy Park.
- Participants are encouraged to wear masks.
- Participants must move through in cohorts of less than 10 people, and keep socially distanced from other cohorts.
- Please park in the designated parking area BEHIND Co-op Grocery, across from the Fort Precinct, or along 101st Street. Do NOT park in the Coop/TD parking lot.
- Donations of non-perishable food, diapers, and toys will be accepted.
- Please, DO NOT ATTEND if you have possible exposure to someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or if you have any symptoms yourself.
