The City of Fort Saskatchewan currently has a vacancy on the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library Board and is accepting applications for residents to serve on this Board.
Purpose
To ensure the effective management and operation of the public Library. The Library has been established under the Libraries Act and the Board is responsible to ensure the Library is operated in accordance with that Act.
Time Commitment
Evening meetings are held monthly (10 per year) on a date and time determined by the Board. Appointed Board members will also be required to serve on one of the following Standing Committees: Finance and Development and Advocacy Committee or Personnel Committee, which could result in additional meetings per month.
