Enjoy the night sky with enthusiasts at the Astotin Lake Recreation Area after dark! As a member of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve, Elk Island National Park is the perfect place to view the stars and planets above.

June 21, the summer solstice, is the longest day of the year. Join Parks Canada staff in celebrating the summer solstice. Following a gorgeous sunset, listen to stories celebrating the solstice and watch as stars take over the night sky!

Regular park admission applies.
