Join Marge and Cassandra Johnson, two Cree artists from Alberta, to make an authentic Cree craft. While you craft under the starry sky at Elk Island National Park, this mother-daughter duo will share information about Cree culture and the significance of the chosen craft.

The 7 Sacred Teachings consist of love, respect, courage, honesty, wisdom, humility, and truth. They remind us that we always need to respond in kind and gentle ways when we are working with people and ourselves.

Come learn about the significance of the 7 Sacred Teachings!

After crafting, roast bannock over a fire, slather it with some homemade jam, and share stories with new friends!
