Help close out the 2022-2023 ice season with rocking tunes and great prizes
Dust off your leg warmers, acid wash jeans, and bomber jackets because the clocks will be turning back to the 80’s and 90’s at the Morinville Leisure Centre for an ice skating party of epic proportions.
The Landrex 80’s & 90’s Ice Skating Party will be taking place from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 at the Morinville Leisure Centre in the Landrex Arena. The free event will feature music from the 80’s and 90’s, with great giveaways and prizes. If that isn’t enough, the first 250 guests will also receive a free drink, courtesy of No Frill’s and slice of pizza from Boston Pizza, courtesy of Landrex Inc.
The event will provide the community with one last chance to lace up their skates for the 2022-2023 ice season and has been made possible by a partnership with Landrex Inc.
“This 80’s and 90’s inspired event is a fun way to wrap up a great ice season and strengthen the relationship with our partner, Landrex Inc. Strong partnerships, like this, are important for building community and providing more opportunities for residents,” explained Teena Hughson, Community Engagement & Partnerships Specialist.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in 80’s or 90’s attire but are not required to do so. Regular public
