Southfort Ridge-Meadows Outline Plan Amendment
Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. on behalf of Southfort Development Corp. applied to amend the Southfort Ridge-Meadows Outline Plan to redesignate 0.26 ha (0.65 acres) of lands in Southfort Meadows from:

Medium Density Street-Oriented Townhouse – to Medium Density Reduced Setback Housing Development
The purpose of this amendment is to identify the proposed location of a non-conventional development; specifically, medium density semi-detached houses with suites and reduced rear setbacks. The applicant has also submitted a corresponding Land Use Bylaw (Bylaw C1-23) amendment and redistricting application. Housekeeping changes to the outline plan include reflecting previously approved redistrictings for the reduced setback housing development and subsequent updates to land use statistics. Prior to early 2022, Outline Plans were not required to identify the location of non-conventional housing typologies on the land use concept plans.
