Boys and Girls Club

The Fort Saskatchewan Boys and Girls Club is once again excited to be gearing up for Pink Shirt Day. Although this year will look different, we want to encourage everyone wishing to participate in Pink Shirt Day to spread kindness throughout the community.

Pink Shirt Day started in Nova Scotia in 2007 by teens committed to increasing awareness in hopes to decrease bullying everywhere.

Our goal is to get as many individual homes, businesses, and organizations to wear pink on February 24th this year as a symbol that bullying is not acceptable in the community and that the community of Fort Saskatchewan supports bullying prevention.

You can get involved in the movement in the following ways:
· Purchase “Pink Shirt Day T-Shirts” for students, staff, and parents or guardians
· Plan “Pink Shirt” COVID safe activities in your schools, offices, agencies and homes
· Encourage everyone to wear pink!
· Stay tuned for more info to participate in the 4th annual “Paint the Town Pink” contest

We are extremely grateful to Winner’s Way Source for Sports for donating the shirts and once again providing the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club, so we can continue to provide programs that educate and promote kindness amongst youth.
